Carl CoxPhiladelphia, PA – Carl Cox, a Philadelphia-based saxophone performer and musician who has built his career in the contemporary jazz world, this week officially released his first EP: Feelin’ Fine. Produced and written by EvanDMusic, the Feelin’ Fine debut single is airing on major Smooth Jazz radio stations in the United States as of Monday, August 21.

To be sold exclusively on Carl’s website at carlcoxjazz.com, Feelin’ Fine has already received the first raving review from a national Smooth Jazz writer, Ronald Jackson of The Smooth Jazz Ride. Carl is working with top Smooth Jazz radio promoters Jason Gorov and Cliff Gorov of Gorov Music Marketing to promote his EP.

“Having toured as a sax player for the past 10 years, it’s an incredible feeling to be finally sharing my original material with listeners worldwide,” said Carl. “I’m pleased to announce that Feelin’ Fine is officially available for listening, it is all about the journey of my musical career for the last 20 years.”

Feelin’ Fine is a 5-track musical masterpiece that embodies a confident, upbeat tempo. Carl flawlessly delivers fantastic grooves and sensational solos with his unique sax sound. Carl has also performed with freelance musicians of various entertainment companies including CTO, Grand Entertainment Productions, Cutting Edge, Don’t Call Me Francis, Johnny O and the Classic Dogs of Love, FM Band and The New York Entertainment Group. Carl has performed at a variety of Atlantic City Casino gigs as well. Carl currently tours with Maysa (Grammy Nominated 2014) and Sister Sledge.

Carl brings a colorful musical background to the forefront of his performances, from touring as a freelance saxophonist to his education from his hometown of Southern Jersey. He is also the full-time Music Director at Deptford High School. Carl received his Bachelor’s degree in saxophone performance and Masters in Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he resides today.
